“Mt. Misery” Race Site
From NJ Turnpike: Exit 7 to Route 206 South to Route 70 East. Continue on 70 east 1.6 miles past 70-72 circle. Turn right at the light onto Forest Avenue. Follow the road until you reach a 4 way intercestion with a dirt road straight ahead and turn right - keeping on the paved road. If the arrows are not set-up yet, stay to the right at every fork in the road. This will lead you to the race site
From GS Parkway: Take exit for Rt. 70 West. Park entrance is on Rt. 70 about 8 miles west of Rt. 70-539 intersection. (Exxon station on corner) Pass the sign for Country Lakes- make the next left at sign for Mt. Misery and follow arrows about 4 miles into forest to race site.
“BBB” Race Site
From NJ Turnpike: Same as above, but continue on Rt. 70 East past Mt. Misery to intersection of Rt. 70 and Rt. 539 (Exxon station on corner) Turn right onto Rt. 539 South, bear right at 530/539 split. Go approx. 3/4 mile and turn right on sand road just past the Episcopal Church. Continue on sand road about 1 1/2 mile to race site)
From GS Parkway: Take exit for Rt. 70 West, to Rt. 70/ Rt. 539 intersection. (Exxon station on corner) Turn left onto Rt 539 South, bear right at 530/539 split. Go approx. 3/4 mile and turn right on sand road just past Episcopal Church. Continue on sand road about 1 1/2 mile to race site.
"Goose Pond” Race Site
From NJ Turnpike: Follow directions for “BBB” race site, continue on sand road through the “BBB” site approx. a mile to next intersection. Turn left and continue approx. 1 1/2 miles to race site. (large intersection)
From GS Parkway: Follow directions for “BBB” race site, continue on sand road through the “BBB” site approx. a mile to next intersection. Turn left and continue 1 1/2 mile to race site. (large intersection)
“White Bogs” Race Site
From NJ Turnpike: Follow directions for Mt. Misery, but continue on Rt. 70 East past Mt. Misery. Make a very hard left turn onto Rt. 530. Turn right at sign for Whites Bogs Village. At stop sign, turn right and follow arrows to race site. If the arrows are not set-up yet, bear right at the fork to go into the woods, follow the winding road and go through one small intersection. The next very open space is the parking area for the race.)
From GS Parkway: Follow directions for “BBB” race site, but continue on Rt. 70 West through the Rt. 70-539 intersection. Turn right on Rt. 530. Turn right at sign for Whites Bogs Village. At stop sign, turn right and follow arrows to race site.
While not all of the races depend on snow, we do depend on cold temperatures. You may want to call ahead on Friday evening to make sure the race is still on and to confirm what race site. (Sometimes it’s necessary to change race sites.)
